We had a movie night as a floor, and Luke (new floor member!) and I went over to the Union Market to buy ourselves drinks and chips for the floor to share. I liked the way the trees looked with the snow on them, so after we bought our stuff, I stopped to take a picture on our way back to our building. I don't know why it came out blue-ish, but I love it!

Ok, so this isn't a great picture. Not by any means. But you guys have seriously no idea how happy it makes me that I found my video camera again! Behind a camera, in front of a camera, whatever. Just with a camera. Having a camera in my hand. That makes me unbelievably happy.

Day 8.

WHY do I always forget to take a picture until like 10:30 at night? Well... here's what I spent all day today doing. Pokemon Platinum! :)

.....I have no life.

Day 6, take 2. Day 7 too.

Thankfully, restarting my computer fixed whatever issue was going on yesterday with it not recognizing my memory card. So here's yesterday's picture of a very tired me who forgot to take a picture until 11 at night and then got overly frustrated at the fact the the laptop wouldn't recognize the camera's memory card.

And today's picture as well. It's of a camera that my sister (Nikki) and her boyfriend (Ron) found last summer in an abandoned building they decided to explore while they were hanging out together, hiking somewhere (I'm not even sure where).

As much as I really like day 7's picture, I kind of feel like no picture I take this year will be better than day 5's picture. Day 5 is just a really cool picture that came out more amazingly than I ever could have expected it to. It's not, like, the best picture ever in the world or anything (obviously), but I love it. A lot.

Day 6.

Do you want to know what's pathetic? Really really pathetic? I'm 6 days into this, and I'm already ready to quit. I'm sitting here asking myself why I'm even doing this. Why? In a year from now, is it gonna mean anything? Am I going to look back on these and think about them? What's the point?

It doesn't help any that it's 11:40 at night, and while I have taken a picture today, my computer is being craptastic and not recognizing my memory card when I put it in, even if I use my card reader usb thingy. I can't figure it out, and I'm stressing over it because I'm tired so I'm going to stress over just about anything. So maybe when I'm more awake, I might be more into this photo challenge, but right now... ugh.

For now, here's a webcam picture of today's picture on my camera. Horrible quality, obviously, because it's a picture of a picture on my camera. But as soon as I can get my computer to recognize my memory card again, I'll replace the webcam picture with the camera picture. I probably just need to restart my computer or something. I don't know.

Hopefully, if everything works again after restarting my computer, I'll be able to post a better quality version of this tomorrow -- along with tomorrow's picture too. And if not, then I'm going to be done with this for a while (aka - until I can figure it all out) because I'm not posting however many more days are left in this year pictures in bad quality like this one.

Yesterday, Today...

I took a picture yesterday, but spent the night at a friends house. Which meant that I didn't have access to the internet last night to post it. So, here's the picture from yesterday:

Two friends and I were playing "Hedbanz." Their faces are blurred out because that's what they wanted. When we were done playing, we decided to make ourselves superheros and take a picture like that. The conversation was pretty much like:

Friend 1: I call Spiderman!

Friend 2: I'm Batman!

Me: I'll be... whoever's left. :)

And now, onto today's picture:

We were in the car, and I was just playing around with my camera, when I noticed the cool (in my opinion anyway) effect that would happen if I took a picture through the window of my refection in the mirror. So you see me (my reflection in the mirror) as well as the reflection of the trees on the window. I think it's a pretty cool picture.

3 for 3!

My pretty kitty cat, Mister Missy sleeping on the couch today :). Actually, he's my (pretty much) step-sister's cat, but I always pet him and pay lots of attention to him, so he pretty much loves me most. And so I say he's my cat.

January 2, Day 2.

My cousin Shawn turned 14 at the end of December, and we celebrated it today with pizza and breadsticks at our grandparent's house. I really can't believe he's 14 already; it really doesn't feel like it was that long ago that he was, like, 10.

Day one!

Off to a good start, if I do say so myself. One day down, one picture down. A sign that Christmas shouldn't be over yet, perhaps? My sister found this ornament, and hung it up on a branch. It made for a surprisingly good picture, I think.
